There are times when it all just seems to come together. Sunday morning was one of them. The weather was cool at -15C and the sun was shining on a dusting of new snow.
I’d been up to Black Bay in behind Petawawa and was returning. On the way up I’d seen a doe in the bush but couldn’t get a clear shot of it. It was being cagy and staying out of the open. The way back was a different story. Either this was a different doe or she was feeling more comfortable. She was out in the field with her two youngsters.
She was very aware of me but not overly concerned. They crossed the field and moved on. The two youngsters played with each other and were generally enjoying being youngsters.
Enjoy.
